The 2024-25 Gallagher Premiership fixtures started with a bang as Bath avenged last season’s final defeat by defeating champions Northampton Saints 38-16. The season will include the league’s first-ever game in Wales as Bristol Bears transform their 10 May fixture against Bath into a ‘Big Day Out’ at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. The season will culminate in the final at Allianz Stadium on Saturday 14 June 2025 – a week before the British & Irish Lions play Argentina in Dublin ahead of their tour to Australia. A two-leg play-off for promotion to the Premiership will take place on the weekends of 6-8 June and 13-15 June between the winner of the RFU Championship (provided it meets the minimum standards criteria) and the bottom-placed team in the Premiership.
