Champions Bath made it two triumphs out of two as they fended off a stern challenge of Sale to weather their threat and the conditions to pick up a bonus-point victory. First-half tries from Henry Arundell, Cameron Redpath and Beno Obano gave the hosts a 21-9 lead going into the break before Max Ojomoh struck late to seal a maximum. Led by the peerless George Ford, who contributed 11 points on a wet night, Sale’s only try of the game came from Nathan Jibulu as they were cruelly denied a bonus point. It was though a PREM match dominated by the weather as Storm Amy made her presence felt with the rain and wind relentless, but credit to both sides who put on a show.
